These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Mystical Trips website, your enquiries and communications with us, and any private tour, guided experience or related service booked through Mystical Trips.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or confirming a booking. By accessing the website, submitting an enquiry, paying a deposit, accepting a quotation or participating in an experience, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

If you make a booking on behalf of another person or group, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of every participant included in the booking.

 

1. ABOUT MYSTICAL TRIPS

Mystical Trips is an Oman-based private tour brand offering personalized guided experiences across the Sultanate of Oman.

For the purposes of these Terms, “Mystical Trips”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to:

The words “you”, “your”, “guest”, “traveler” and “participant” refer to the person accessing the website, making a booking or participating in an experience.

 

2. SCOPE OF OUR SERVICES

Mystical Trips may offer private guiding and travel experiences that include, in general terms:

City and cultural exploration;
Heritage and historical visits;
Mountain and hiking experiences;
Wadi and nature experiences;
Desert and coastal exploration;
Scenic journeys;
Adventure-oriented activities; and
Other personalized experiences agreed with the guest.

 

The exact route, duration, inclusions, exclusions, level of difficulty, transport arrangements, meeting point and price will be stated in the relevant quotation, booking confirmation or itinerary.

Website descriptions are provided for general information and inspiration. They do not create a confirmed booking or guarantee that a particular destination, attraction, activity, route or service will be available.

 

3. ENQUIRIES AND QUOTATIONS

Submitting an enquiry does not create a binding booking.

After receiving your enquiry, Mystical Trips may request information including:

Preferred dates;
Number and ages of participants;
Areas of interest;
Fitness and mobility considerations;
Dietary requirements;
Relevant medical or accessibility information;
Accommodation or collection location;
Preferred language; and
Any special requests.

Based on the information supplied, we may provide a proposed itinerary and quotation.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations:

Are subject to availability;
Are based on the number of participants and information provided;
May be valid only until the expiry date stated;
May change if the itinerary, participant numbers or services change;
Do not constitute confirmation until the required payment is received; and
May exclude services not expressly identified as included.

We reserve the right to correct genuine clerical, typographical or pricing errors before confirming a booking.

 

4. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

A booking is confirmed only when:

We have issued written confirmation;
You have accepted the proposed itinerary and price;
We have received the required deposit or full payment; and
Any required participant information has been supplied.

Written confirmation may be issued by email, WhatsApp, booking platform or another agreed electronic communication method.

You must review the booking confirmation immediately and notify us of any errors or discrepancies. Mystical Trips will not be responsible for issues arising from information that you supplied incorrectly or failed to verify.

 

5. PRICES

Prices will normally be quoted in Omani Rial unless another currency is expressly stated.

The confirmed price may depend on:

Number of participants;
Duration and route;
Transport requirements;
Entry fees;
Activity providers;
Meals or refreshments;
Accommodation, where applicable;
Seasonal availability;
Special arrangements; and
Taxes or government charges.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices do not include:

International or domestic flights;
Visas or immigration expenses;
Travel insurance;
Personal purchases;
Additional food or beverages;
Accommodation;
Optional activities;
Gratuities;
Medical expenses;
Costs caused by delays or itinerary changes outside our control; or
Any item not listed as included.

Where government fees, taxes, attraction charges or third-party costs change after confirmation, we may adjust the price where legally permitted. Any material change will be communicated before the service is provided.

 

6. PAYMENT TERMS

The required deposit, balance payment date and accepted payment method will be stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.

Unless agreed otherwise:

A booking is not secured until the required deposit is received;
The outstanding balance must be paid by the stated deadline;
Bookings made close to the experience date may require full payment immediately;
Any bank, card, transfer or currency-conversion charges are the responsibility of the guest; and
Failure to make payment by the deadline may result in cancellation.

You must retain proof of payment.

Payments must be made only through payment instructions officially issued by Mystical Trips. We are not responsible for payments sent to an unauthorized person, altered account or fraudulent communication where the guest failed to verify suspicious payment instructions with us.

 

7. CANCELLATIONS BY THE GUEST

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.

The cancellation date will be the date on which Mystical Trips receives the written request.

Unless a different cancellation policy is stated in the booking confirmation, the following policy applies:

Cancellation more than [30] days before the experience: refund of amounts paid, less any non-refundable deposit, administrative expenses and third-party charges;
Cancellation between [15 and 30] days before the experience: [50%] cancellation charge;
Cancellation fewer than [15] days before the experience: [100%] cancellation charge; and
Failure to attend or cancellation after commencement: no refund.

Any non-refundable third-party expense already committed on your behalf may be deducted from a refund.

Examples may include permits, tickets, accommodation, specialist guides, transport, catering, activity providers and other reserved services.

Refunds, where approved, will normally be made using the original payment method. Bank, card and foreign-exchange charges may be deducted where applicable.

The cancellation policy stated in your individual booking confirmation will take priority where it differs from this section.

 

8. CHANGES REQUESTED BY THE GUEST

Requests to change a confirmed booking are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Changes may include:

Travel dates;
Participant numbers;
Collection location;
Duration;
Route;
Activities;
Vehicle requirements; or
Other agreed services.

A reduction in participant numbers may not reduce the total price because many private-tour costs are calculated per vehicle, guide or booking rather than per person.

We will try to accommodate reasonable requests but cannot guarantee that changes will be possible.

 

9. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY MYSTICAL TRIPS

Mystical Trips may change, postpone, interrupt or cancel an experience where reasonably necessary because of:

Unsafe weather;
Flooding, rain or wadi conditions;
Extreme heat;
Road closures;
Government restrictions;
Attraction closures;
Permit restrictions;
Mechanical or transport issues;
Guide illness or emergency;
Safety concerns;
Civil disturbance;
Natural disaster;
Public-health measures;
Force majeure; or
Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where possible, we may offer:

A revised route;
A substitute destination or activity;
A different date;
A credit toward another experience; or
A refund of the affected service.

The appropriate solution will depend on the circumstances, expenses already incurred, services already provided and applicable law.

Minor itinerary changes that do not materially reduce the overall experience will not normally entitle the guest to a refund.

Safety decisions made by the guide are final.

 

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Mystical Trips will not be responsible for delay, change, cancellation or failure to perform caused by an event beyond our reasonable control.

Such events may include severe weather, flash floods, natural disasters, fire, epidemic, pandemic, government action, border restrictions, transport disruption, strikes, civil unrest, security incidents, road closures, infrastructure failure or similar circumstances.

Where a force-majeure event occurs, we will act reasonably to minimize disruption, but we cannot guarantee reimbursement of costs already paid to third parties or expenses separately incurred by the guest.

 

11. ITINERARIES AND TRAVEL TIMES

All itineraries are subject to local conditions.

Distances and travel times stated on the website, itinerary or correspondence are estimates only. Actual timing may be affected by:

Traffic;
Weather;
Road conditions;
Stops requested by guests;
Participant pace;
Seasonal conditions;
Attraction opening hours;
Security or government checks; and
Events outside our control.

Mystical Trips may adjust the order, duration or route of an experience where reasonably necessary.

An itinerary is a planned framework rather than a guarantee that every location will be visited within a precise time.

 

12. PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

You must provide complete and accurate information for every participant where reasonably requested.

This may include:

Full name;
Age;
Contact details;
Emergency contact;
Passport or identification details where required;
Dietary restrictions;
Allergies;
Medical conditions relevant to participation;
Mobility requirements;
Swimming ability;
Hiking experience; and
Other information needed to organize the experience safely.

Mystical Trips relies on the accuracy of the information provided.

We are not responsible for consequences arising from incomplete, inaccurate or withheld information.

 

13. HEALTH, FITNESS AND MOBILITY

Some experiences may involve walking, hiking, climbing, swimming, uneven surfaces, high altitude, heat, off-road travel or limited access to medical services.

You are responsible for reviewing the proposed experience and deciding whether you and the other participants are physically and medically able to participate.

Before booking, you must disclose any condition that may affect participation or require additional assistance.

This may include:

Heart or respiratory conditions;
Serious allergies;
Recent surgery or injury;
Pregnancy;
Reduced mobility;
Vertigo;
Heat sensitivity;
Epilepsy;
Diabetes;
Swimming limitations; or
Any condition that could create a safety concern.

Disclosure does not necessarily prevent participation. It helps us assess whether reasonable adjustments, a different route or specialist advice may be needed.

Mystical Trips is not a medical adviser. You should obtain professional medical advice before participating where you have concerns regarding your health or fitness.

 

14. ADVENTURE AND OUTDOOR RISKS

Outdoor and adventure experiences carry inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

Depending on the experience, risks may include:

Slips, trips and falls;
Loose rocks and uneven trails;
Heat exposure and dehydration;
Sudden weather changes;
Flash floods;
Strong currents or deep water;
Wildlife, insects or plants;
Remote terrain;
Limited mobile coverage;
Vehicle travel on mountain or unpaved roads; and
Delayed access to emergency assistance.

By choosing to participate, you acknowledge the ordinary and inherent risks associated with the experience.

This section does not exclude any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

 

15. GUIDE INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY

Participants must follow all reasonable safety instructions issued by the guide, driver, activity provider, site operator or relevant authority.

Mystical Trips may refuse or discontinue a participant’s involvement where that person:

Ignores safety instructions;
Behaves recklessly;
Appears under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances;
Threatens or harasses another person;
Damages property or the natural environment;
Acts contrary to local laws or customs;
Places themselves or others at risk; or
Is not suitably equipped for the agreed activity.

No refund will normally be available where participation is refused or ended because of the participant’s conduct.

 

16. CHILDREN AND MINORS

A parent or legal guardian must approve a booking involving a participant under the age of 18.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise:

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult;
The accompanying adult remains responsible for the minor’s supervision;
Age, height, weight or fitness restrictions may apply to particular activities;
Suitable child seating must be requested before booking; and
Some routes or activities may not be appropriate for young children.

Mystical Trips may recommend an alternative experience where the proposed activity is unsuitable for a child’s age or ability.

 

17. PREGNANCY

Guests who are pregnant must inform us before booking any experience involving hiking, off-road travel, boats, strenuous activity, remote areas or other potentially demanding conditions.

We may recommend modification or non-participation where an experience presents a foreseeable safety concern.

The guest should obtain medical advice where appropriate.

 

18. CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT

Guests are responsible for bringing suitable clothing, footwear, sun protection, hydration and personal equipment as advised.

Depending on the experience, recommended items may include:

Supportive walking shoes;
Modest and culturally appropriate clothing;
Sun hat;
Sunscreen;
Reusable water bottle;
Swimwear suitable for local settings;
Light jacket;
Personal medication;
Small backpack; and
Waterproof protection for personal electronics.

Mystical Trips may refuse participation in an activity where unsuitable clothing or equipment creates a material safety risk.

 

19. CULTURAL RESPECT AND LOCAL CONDUCT

Guests must respect the laws, traditions, religion, communities and cultural values of the Sultanate of Oman.

Guests should:

Dress appropriately, particularly in villages, religious sites and public places;
Request permission before photographing individuals;
Respect restrictions at mosques, forts, museums and heritage locations;
Avoid entering private land or property without permission;
Refrain from offensive, disruptive or culturally insensitive behavior;
Follow local rules concerning alcohol and prohibited substances; and
Respect community privacy.

Mystical Trips may alter or end an experience if participant behavior risks causing offence, conflict, legal difficulty or harm to the brand’s relationships with local communities.

 

20. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Guests must help protect Oman’s natural and cultural environments.

You must not:

Leave litter;
Damage plants, rocks or geological formations;
Remove archaeological, natural or cultural items;
Disturb wildlife;
Pollute water sources;
Light fires where prohibited;
Drive or walk through restricted areas; or
Damage heritage sites or community property.

Where practical, guests should carry reusable water containers and minimize single-use waste.

 

21. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Each traveler is responsible for ensuring that they:

Hold a valid passport;
Obtain the correct visa or entry permission;
Meet immigration and customs requirements;
Comply with health or vaccination requirements;
Hold any required permits; and
Remain legally entitled to enter and stay in Oman.

Mystical Trips does not provide legal or immigration advice unless expressly agreed in writing.

A guest’s inability to participate because of immigration, visa, documentation or border issues will be treated as a guest cancellation.

 

22. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before arriving in Oman.

Insurance should be suitable for the activities being undertaken and may need to cover:

Trip cancellation;
Medical treatment;
Emergency evacuation;
Hiking or adventure activity;
Personal accident;
Lost or damaged belongings;
Travel delay;
Repatriation; and
Personal liability.

Mystical Trips is not responsible for a guest’s failure to obtain suitable insurance.

 

23. TRANSPORT

Where transport is included, the type of vehicle will be selected based on the route, group size, availability and agreed service.

Guests must:

Wear seat belts where provided;
Follow driver instructions;
Avoid distracting the driver;
Keep the vehicle reasonably clean;
Use child restraints where required; and
Inform us in advance of unusual luggage or equipment requirements.

Smoking or vaping may be prohibited inside vehicles.

Journey times may vary because of traffic, road, weather or local conditions.

 

24. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some elements of an experience may be provided by independent third parties, including:

Hotels;
Restaurants;
Boat operators;
Camps;
Activity providers;
Transport providers;
Attraction operators;
Specialist guides; and
Government or heritage sites.

Where Mystical Trips arranges a third-party service, that provider’s own terms, safety rules, opening hours and cancellation conditions may apply.

Mystical Trips will exercise reasonable care when selecting providers but does not own or directly control every third-party operation.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that legally remains with Mystical Trips.

 

25. MEETING TIMES AND LATE ARRIVAL

Guests must be ready at the agreed meeting point and time.

Where a participant is late:

The experience may be shortened;
Certain destinations or activities may need to be removed;
Additional waiting or transport charges may apply; or
The booking may be treated as a no-show where the delay makes the experience impractical.

Mystical Trips is not responsible for missed activities caused by a guest’s late arrival, flight disruption or failure to follow collection instructions.

Please notify us immediately if you expect to be delayed.

 

26. FOOD, ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Guests must inform us in advance of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate these requirements to relevant providers. However, we cannot guarantee that food will be completely free from allergens, particularly where food is prepared by local households, restaurants, camps or independent suppliers.

Guests with serious allergies should carry their prescribed medication and take appropriate precautions.

 

27. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Guests remain responsible for their luggage, money, passports, mobile phones, cameras and other personal belongings.

Mystical Trips is not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless caused by our proven negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Guests should avoid bringing unnecessary valuables and should check vehicles, accommodation and activity locations before departure.

Any property found will be handled reasonably, but return and delivery costs may be charged to the owner.

 

28. PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING

Guests may take photographs and recordings for personal use, subject to local law, site rules and the privacy of others.

Commercial photography, professional filming, drones and organized content production may require prior approval or government permits.

You must not photograph or record another person without appropriate permission.

Mystical Trips may occasionally photograph or record an experience for promotional purposes. We will request consent before intentionally using an identifiable guest’s image for marketing.

You may withdraw promotional consent for future use by contacting us, although this may not affect material already lawfully published or distributed.

 

29. WEBSITE INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and current. However:

Information may change without notice;
Images may be illustrative;
Seasonal conditions may affect landscapes and accessibility;
Attraction schedules may change;
Descriptions may be general rather than exhaustive; and
Website content does not replace an individual booking confirmation.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from harmful components.

 

30. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, all website content is owned by or licensed to Mystical Trips.

This includes:

Brand names;
Logos;
Text;
Photographs;
Videos;
Graphics;
Itinerary descriptions;
Designs;
Layouts; and
Other creative material.

You may view and download reasonable portions of the website for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, exploit or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

“Mystical Trips” and associated brand assets may not be used in a way that suggests partnership, endorsement or affiliation without authorization.

 

31. ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE

You must not:

Use the website unlawfully;
Attempt unauthorized access to the website or systems;

Mystical Trips aims to provide professional, carefully organized and enjoyable experiences. However, travel and outdoor activities are affected by conditions that cannot always be predicted or controlled.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee:

Specific weather;
Wildlife sightings;
Uninterrupted access to a destination;
Exact travel times;
A particular photographic result;
The availability of every attraction; or
That an experience will meet every subjective expectation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any mandatory consumer right or legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

 

34. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mystical Trips will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website or participation in an experience.

This may include loss of enjoyment, opportunity, income, business or anticipated savings.

Where Mystical Trips is legally liable, its responsibility will be assessed according to the applicable law, the circumstances and the extent to which the guest or a third party contributed to the loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

Fraud;
Willful misconduct;
Death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot be excluded;
Breach of mandatory consumer rights; or
Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

 

35. INDEMNITY

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for loss, damage, expense or claim caused by:

Your unlawful conduct;
Your intentional or reckless acts;
Your breach of these Terms;
Damage you cause to property;
Your failure to follow safety instructions; or
False or misleading information supplied by you.

This section does not make you responsible for loss caused by Mystical Trips’ own negligence or unlawful conduct.

 

36. COMPLAINTS

We value the opportunity to resolve concerns directly and professionally.

If you experience an issue during an experience, please inform the guide as soon as reasonably possible so that we may attempt to address it.

37. COMMUNICATIONS

You agree that booking-related communications may be sent electronically through email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp or another contact method supplied by you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details are correct and regularly monitored.

Electronic records may be retained as evidence of enquiries, instructions, acceptance, payments and booking arrangements, subject to applicable law.

 

38. PERSONAL DATA

Personal information collected through the website, enquiry process and booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable personal-data protection requirements.

By providing another participant’s information, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that the participant has been informed about how the information may be used.

Please do not send highly sensitive information unless it is reasonably required for safety or service delivery.

 

39. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in:

Our services;
Website functionality;
Business practices;
Legal requirements; or
Operational procedures.

The updated version will be published on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

The terms included in your confirmed booking will continue to govern that booking unless a change is required by law or agreed in writing.

 

40. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, while the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

 

41. NO WAIVER

A failure or delay by Mystical Trips in exercising a right does not waive that right.

Any waiver must be expressly confirmed in writing.

 

42. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the quotation, itinerary, booking confirmation, Privacy Policy and any written special conditions, form the agreement between Mystical Trips and the guest.

If there is a conflict, the following order will normally apply:

Special conditions stated in the booking confirmation;
The confirmed quotation or itinerary;
These Terms and Conditions; and
General website information.

 

43. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and any dispute arising from the website, booking or services will be governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. The competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right or dispute-resolution process that applies.
